How do I make YouTube Shorts auto-scroll?

Install the Social Tweaks Chrome extension and turn on "Auto-advance on Shorts" in the popup. When a Short ends, the extension automatically moves to the next one — no scrolling needed.

Can I bring back YouTube dislike counts?

Yes. Social Tweaks uses Return YouTube Dislike data to show the dislike counts YouTube hid in 2021, on both video and Shorts pages. Just enable "Show dislike count" in the popup.

Does Instagram Reels support auto-scroll?

With Social Tweaks enabled, the next Reel plays automatically when one ends, so your feed never stops. You can toggle this independently in the popup.

Is it free, and does it collect data?

It's completely free and open-source. It collects no personal data, has no analytics or tracking, and stores your settings only in your browser. You can read the source code line by line.

Does it need an account or login?

No. After installing, there's no account to create and no login. Install it, toggle the features you want, open YouTube or Instagram — Social Tweaks handles the rest.

Your data stays with you

Social Tweaks sends no data to any server; there's no analytics or tracking. Your settings live only in your browser's own storage. Only when "Show dislike count" is on, the ID of the video you're watching is sent to returnyoutubedislikeapi.com to fetch the count — turn that feature off and no requests are made.
